  Dr. Barber and his staff are amazing! very professional caring people they take care of your every need. I drove an hour and a half to have dr. Barber perform my augmentation. I highly recommend dr. Barber and will use him in the future.

  Dr. Barber and his staff are superb, despite whining to the contrary in these reviews. Why is google allowing a husband to review a doctor on behalf of his disgruntled wife? Ludicrous--since it's obvious the guy is attempting to impugn Dr. Barber's reputation because his wife was too lazy to return a phone call. But enough of that unfounded negativity...IF you make an effort to confirm your appointment, whether with Dr. Barber or his wonderful skin care experts, you will find yourself in a world of professional, warm and kind staff. The office runs like a well-oiled machine. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see Dr. Barber pre-op or post-op. Dr. Barber is the best in the business, and these other reviews are silly considering the lady in question never had surgery. I did--I had a breast reduction--and I could not be happier. I also will say that whether at the surgical center or at my local urgent care, just mention Dr. Barber, and you will hear nurses, doctors and even the lady who made my appointment at the surgical center say: 'oh, Dr. Barber...such a good guy." That's what I like to hear. His medical credentials are a given--chief of plastic surgery at Moses Cone? Uh, yeah. The guy is a superb surgeon. But the fact that his peers see him as a great guy is just as important from my perspective. btw, I did not run into the office without fears and apprehensions. Being "out" for 4 hours on an operating table scared the bejesus out of me. Dr. Barber and Ellen always responded with reassurance, answered my questions about anaesthesia with respect, and by the end I just came to terms that I would wake up (lol) and that all is well. The end results? Amazing. If you have something physical that is impeding your quality of life, run don't walk to this wonderful office. Just make sure to return those appointment confirmation phone calls;)
