- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am an RN who has been coming to this facility off and on for 14 years, as well as others in and around the Greensboro area. I am never overwhelmed with urine odor upon entry, the facility is always clean, and the staff is friendly. They do not always know what days or times I am coming and I have never been disappointed with the condition of the residents. If I have any concerns, the owner is always interested in knowing and is always concerned about the well being of the residents. They have a doctor and Nurse Practitioner who routinely visit the facility, an activities director who involves them in activities; they play bingo, have movie night, have scheduled snack times, etc...Matter of fact, Bingo is enjoyed there by everyone and everyone wins a "prize". I have learned to hold my visits during this time or "reap the wrath" from patients' who really get into this!! Overall this is a beautiful facility, inside and out, and resident care is top priority.June 09, 2017by tammy turner
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother recently became a resident of St. Gales Manor in Greensboro, N.C. and the staff, and residents are truly a blessing to my mother and I. It is true there are no perfect places because there are no perfect people, but I can say that my mother is a happier woman and the staff and the residents really do care about her and each other. The Activities Coordinator is also an awesome young lady...she actually sent me a video clip of my mother participating in the daily events. By her doing this, it gave me comfort knowing that my mother was having a wonderful time! The owner and her entire staff have been nothing but courteous and loving towards my mother and I. My heart was so heavy when making the decision to move my mother into assisted living, but I have no regrets. God opened the door and He made the way straight and it is a great place for my mother. If there are any concerns regarding my mother, immediately I receive a call from the staff. Even if she just wants to speak with me, they will call me.
